protobuf 序列化库

简介

首先编写.proto文件定义数据结构,然后用protobuf工具生成对应编程语言的序列化和反序列化代码。

随着数据格式版本的更新,protobuf会自动处理对旧格式的兼容。

定义 .proto 文件

变量后的=1=2是为每个元素定义唯一标识(tag)。

repeated表示该字段可出现零次或多次。

optional表示该字段是可选的,假如原来的格式是有这个字段的,后来去掉了,发送方使用新格式的程序发送,接收方使用旧程序解析时没有解析出该字段,则该字段会取默认值,方便兼容旧格式。

required相对于optional表示该字段是必需的,对于以上例子,当解析时没有发现该字段将解析失败。

编译 .proto 文件

protoc -I=$SRC_DIR --cpp_out=$DST_DIR $SRC_DIR/addressbook.proto

该命令将生成C++源文件:addressbook.pb.haddressbook.pb.cc

protobuf 将为 .proto 文件中的每个 message 生成一个类。

扩展 .proto 数据格式

兼容旧数据格式的原则:

  • 不能修改已有字段的唯一标识符(tag)
  • 不能添加或删除任何required字段
  • 可以删除optionalrepeated字段
  • 可以添加新的optionalrepeated字段,但tag编号必须是全新的未被使用过的
